Poha is flattened rice and is widely popular in North India. It's a famous snack item in all over North india but Indori-Poha is on top of all. It's very nutritive and can be prepared in matter of minutes. Potato,Onion,Peanut can be added to give it more body and zing to the taste. As it gets ready in minutes, it has been a most relished dish in everyday routine.This is one of my favorite breakfast for which I crave for every week-end. This recipe is pretty simple. You just soaked Poha in water and then let it rest for a while.Temper it with Curry Patta and Mustard seeds, and most amazing dish is ready in a blink of an eye.

Ingredients

 2 cups Poha or Flattened Rice:
 ¼ cup Peanut:
 1 tsp Mustard seed:
 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
 2 Green Chili:2chopped(I used Thai chili)
  tsp Asafoetida:
  tsp Turmeric:
 ¼ tsp Coriander Powder:
 1 tbsp Kishmish(Raisin)
 ½ Lemon: x½
  tsp Garam-Masala:
 1 Curry leaves:sprig or 8-10 small size leaves
 ¼ cup Chopped onion:
 ½ tsp Salt:.Tsp. or as per your taste
For Garnishing:
 ¼ cup Chopped raw Onion:
 ¼ tsp Chopped Tomato :
 Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
1

1.Wash Poha in running water and get rid of all impurities.Strain the water.Place Poha in a plate
   and let it rest for 4-5 minutes.
2.In a pan add Mustard Oil when hot enough add Peanut.Roast it until all the raw flavor goes
   away.Take them out on paper towel to absorb extra oil.
3.In the same pan add mustard seeds.When start splattering add  chopped Onion,Curry
   Leaf,Asafoetida and Turmeric powder in it. Mix well.
4.Now add Poha in the pan and mix it well.
5.Add Salt,Coriander Powder,chopped green chilli and mix well.Add Raisin and Roasted Peanut.
6.Let them cook for couple of minutes on slow flame.Squeeze lemon juice and sprinkle
  Garam-Masala.Sprinkle Chopped coriander leaves. At the time of serving garnish with Chopped
   Onion,Tomato and Bhujia.Enjoy with hot tea.
