Ingredients

 1 cup Amla or Goose Berry: (Frozen,8-10 Amla)
 810 Thai Chili: finely chopped(Thai chili is super spicy, so use carefully)
 ½ tsp Cumin seeds:
 ½ tsp Fenugreek seeds:
  tsp Red Pepper Powder:
 ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder:
 1 tsp Coriander powder:
  tsp Asafoetida:
 Salt :to taste
 2 tbsp Sugar or Jaggery:
Method:

1.Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in a pan. When hot enough then add cumin and Fenugreek seeds in it.
2.When it start crackling add all other spices in it and saute it just for 8-10 seconds.
3.Add Goose Berry(Amla) and chopped green chili in it. Mix well.
4.Cover the pan and let it cook it for almost 5 minutes so that all the spices combine well.
5.You don't need to cook it for long time as Amla is frozen and already cooked .
6.After 5-6 minutes add Sugar/Jaggery in it and mix well. Cook for another couple of minutes
   so all the Sugar/Jaggery dissolves.
  Serve with any of the meal.
I used frozen whole Goose Berry in the recipe.Before using it what you need to do is just thaw them in microwave or take them our of freezer ahead of time (approximately 4-5 hrs beforehand).
When they are soft enough just cut them in small pieces and use them
