Paan is a bundle of joy which you chew with sheer happiness.Paan is a delicacy which is eaten in social gathering or in wedding. It is kind of mouth freshener and digestive help, essentially a potli(bundle) of fragrant fennel, gulkand, mukhwas(candied fennel seed)fresh and cold menthol studded in pitted date and wrapped in paan leaf. Pop, it in your mouth and feel the burst of lots of different flavors harmoniously go with each other. Toothsome texture of fennel add the crunch to it.  ½ cup Gulkand:
 ½ cup Mukhwas:
 1 tsp Paan chutney:
 1 tbsp Rose water:
 ½ cup Desiccated coconut(shredded):
 ¼ cup Fennel(Saunf):
  Pitted dates:50-55
  Silver virk for garnishing(optional)
  Paan leaves:15

1.Mix all the ingredients together and fill the mixture in pitted dates.
2.Cut the paan leaf in three parts.Wrap it around khajur.Tuck them in skewer.
Refridgerate for 2-3 hrs.
Serve after having food or as dessert.Be careful while using the paan chutney
as it is pretty potent (menthol concentrate) and if added more can lead to bitter paan bites
