Shoji-Halwa is a popular sweet dish which is prepared and served on religious occasions or served as Prasad in all over India.This dish is super easy to make yet a healthy and satisfying dish for sweet-tooth.Semolina is roasted in ample amount of Ghee or clarified butter and then cooked in Sugar-Syrup and some flavor like Green Cardamom Rose water.

1.Add Sooji in a pan and dry roast it on slow flame for 8-10 minutes until it is golden brown.
Add Pure Ghee in it and mix it well.
2.Meanwhile in another pan add water and bring it up to rolling boil.
3.Add sugar and crushed Green cardamom in it. Now simmer the flame.Cook it for five minutes.
4.Add Semolina little by little in it as it splutters a lot when hot.
5.Mix it well and cook it for another 5 minutes or until all the liquid is dissolved.
6.Spread the hot Halva evenly on a flat dish.
7.Sprinkle all dry fruits on it and let it set. When cold cut the halwa in desirable shape with the help
of cookie cutter or just serve it like that. Garnish it with silver Virk(optional).
