Gatta Curry is famous traditional Rajasthani dish which is prepared with Gram flour or widely known as 'Besan'.The base of the Gravy is Onion-Tomato and Yoghurt.
Beasn Gattas are boiled in water first and then fried in oil.Later Gattas are simmered in yoghurt base garvy.Traditionally Gatta Curry doesn't have any filling inside, but sometime you can have filling inside.There is one very renowned restaurant in Gurgaon named "Kingdom of Dream".They are very famous for their regional delicacies of every state of India.Rajasthan is one of them and they serve stuffed Gatta curry.Stuffed Gatta Curry is more rich and succulent than the normal Gatta Curry. This curry is served with Roti,Nan,Rice and some other accompaniments

Ingredients for gatta:
 1 cup Gram flour(Besan):
 1 Whole coriander (crushed): table spoon
 ½ Salt : teaspoon or as per taste
 ½ tbsp Red pepper: teaspoon
 ½ Red pepper flakes: teaspoon(optional)
 2 Vegetable oil: tablespoon
 ¼ cup Water:
Ingredients for gravy:
 1 Tomato: (chopped)
 ½ cup Red onion chopped :
 2 Green chillis:
 ½ Ginger piece: inch
 1 Garlic clove:
 2 Whole dry red pepper:
 ¾ cup Beaten yoghurt:
 Salt to taste
 Red pepper to taste.
 1 tsp Turmeric: tsp
 1 tsp Coriander powder:
 ½ tsp Asafoetida:
 1 tsp Kasoori methi:
Gatta recipe:

1.In a bowl add 1 cup of gram flour with salt,pepper,asafoetida,and crushed coriander seed.
Mix it well.add 1 Tbsp oil in it and mix.
2.Add water in the mixture and make a dough.Grease your hand as gram flour tends
to stick.Dough should be medium soft.Divide the dough in four equal parts.
3.Make cylindrical shape out of each dough.
4.In a pan heat water .when it starts rolling boil drop cylinders into it.Cook them for 10
minutes.
5.Fish them out and let Gattas rest for 3-4 minutes.
6.Cut them in bite size pieces.Don't throw the water as this water is used in gravy.
7.In another pan heat oil.when it is hot enough drop pieces of gatta in it and fry them for 2-3
Minutes.Fish them out and put them on paper towel to absorb extra oil.
