Awadhi paneer in Pumpkin Gravy

 250 g Pumpkin
 500 g Paneer
 ½ cup Onion( 1 medium size)
 ½ cup Tomato(Or 1 Medium size)
 4 Garlic Cloves
 ½ Inch Ginger piece
 1 Green Chilli
 1 tbsp Melon seeds
Spices for Gravy
  tsp Cinamon Powder
  tsp Mace Powder
  tsp Clove Powder
  tsp Asafoetida
 ¼ tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
 ¼ tsp Rose Water
 ½ tsp Salt or as per your taste

Method:

  1. In a pan add Oil and roast Melon seeds for 30 seconds or until they start crackling.
  2. Now add Garlic and roast for 1 minute or until it turns pink.
  3. Add Ginger and Green chili and roast.
  4. Now add diced Yellow pumpkin and roast it for almost 10-12 minutes or until aldente.
  5. Now transfer all the roasted ingredients in a blender and blend in smooth paste.
  6. Add butter in the same pan and add the ground paste in it.
  7. Add Salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, Mace powder,Clove Powder, Asafoetida and mix them well .Cook for 10 minutes.
  8. Once a little cold then sift it through a sieve. Add little fresh cream
  9. Again add in the Pan and add Paneer in it.
  10. Enjoy with Laccha Paratha, Naan, Tandoori Roti, Phulka or with Rice.
